Wednesday, April 22 is Administrative Professionals Day

Administrative professionals Day

This is a time to thank all our administrative professionals for all the good work they do in our workplaces. Our healthcare facilities couldn't operate without them.

This special day was created back in 1952 by an advertising agency named Young & Rubicam. They created “National Secretaries Day” to address a shortage of skilled administrative professionals. In 2000 the name was changed to Administrative Professionals Day to encompass their expanding responsibilities and wide-ranging job titles. There is also a Certification Administrative Professional Program for administrative professionals who want to expand their skillset.

SEIU Healthcare celebrates Administrative Professionals Day with a challenge that’s open to all members! Just complete our crossword puzzle and you will be entered into a draw to win one of three $50 Pre-Paid VISA cards. Need help with the answers? You’ll find many of the answers here on this page as well as throughout our website.
