Developing You to Succeed

At SEIU, training our staff to take on our new and exciting initiatives helps us actively pursue our vision. Training takes place in various forms including e-learning, workshops, quarterly staff meetings and formal programs.

We enjoy helping our staff develop, succeed and grow with our organization. Promoting from within is common here and 75% of our senior managers have been promoted from staff positions.

Our management training focuses on training managers to coach and develop our staff through on-the-job opportunities. We have developed a peer mentoring system to help individuals succeed when they join our team.

During our orientation and onboarding program, each new employee is partnered with a senior employee who mentors and integrates them into our organization.
