GLOBAL HEART HOUR: Fragile Health Systems and Global Governance

Now in its 7th year, the Global Heart Hour (GHH) is a non-profit, grassroots initiative that aims to promote, inspire, celebrate, and critically engage with humanitarianism and global health among health professional students.

This year, in partnership with the University of Toronto International Health Program (UTIHP) and the Global Health Longitudinal Elective, the GHH is proud to present its annual panel discussion on the theme “Fragile Health Systems and Global Governance” in light of the ongoing Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Five panelists from varied backgrounds (brief biographies below) will be speaking about their experiences working in the context of Ebola and the ramifications from the global response to the epidemic.
